We are passionate about creating and serving food that is prepared from scratch, using fresh ingredients sourced from Canadian farms and suppliers.

Commercially prepared convenient entrées, soups, and salads are not part of our food service program because the Chef wants you to taste the freshness of the ingredients in every entrée.

Farm-Fresh ingredients simply taste better.

Watch for Farmer’s Market events coming to MRU. Once a week for six weeks starting in September we will be bringing in local farmers and producers to showcase the best the fall harvest season has to offer.

Watch for “Meet the Chef” events. These educational sessions allow our Chef or a guest Chef from the local community to provide hands-on cooking demonstrations while teaching you valuable skills in preparing, cooking and eating healthy for a sustainable lifestyle.

We roast deli meats in-house, including roast beef and turkey.

Baked from Scratch Versus Purchased Baked Goods

100% of our muffins are baked on-site and less than 10% of baked goods are purchased ready-to-eat.

All soups are made fresh from scratch, using fresh seasonal and local ingredients.
